My vote is for #5. I don't understand how we all haven't tired of the chillwave/glo-fi trend that has completely saturated the culture this year.

Fuck that - at least chillwave is listenable. Any idiot can make overdub their non-existent guitar ability and terrible voice with fuzz and call it shitgaze. As as much as I hate shitgaze, it isn't even close to as bad as those Animal Collective acolytes. You know how that dude from the Real World London (Neil) wanted his band to hit the note that would simultaneously make everyone in the room shit their pants? Animal Collective finds it in every song. That's why blog snobs love it so much - they are all so embarrassed that it makes them shit their pants that they have to convince everyone else to give it a try. Well I don't like shitting my pants. Oh, and that jj album rules!!!
